A three time Olympian and 2 time Olympic gold medallist on Canada's famous women's hockey team, Sami Jo helps to show the audience that a "team" needs all of its members, regardless of their role, if they are to succeed. Sami Jo Small's message is about incredible success and facing one’s feelings about failure.

The biggest difference between Sami Jo and other Olympians is the whole idea of being placed in situations that were not the way she had envisioned living her Olympic dream. She uses her motto, "In life, you don’t always get to choose the role you play, but you do get to choose how you play it." to talk about team work and being a valuable team member.

About Sami: Sami Jo Small has led teams to success through adversity for 3 decades both as an athlete and in management roles. She is a 3-time Olympian as a goaltender in the sport of Ice Hockey. (2 gold, 1 silver) as well as a 5 time World Champion.

A Certified Speaking Professional (CSP) and a graduate of Stanford University in Mechanical Engineering, Sami Jo has travelled the world as a professional speaker for more than 25 years.

She uses storytelling to exemplify many aspects of developing more successful teams and leave the audience with concrete ways to support the people and the teams around them through her message that, "In life, we don’t always get to choose the role we play, but we always get to choose how we play it."

Sami Jo is a published author of her best-selling memoir, The Role I Played – Canada’s Greatest Olympic Hockey Team (Published 2020), works in television as a sports analyst, owns a hockey school that has run for more that 25 years, and was recently the President of a women’s professional hockey team in Toronto leading them to Championship this past season.

About Tiffany: Tiffany Wallace founded Dagen Personnel, LLC in October of 2001. Prior to opening Dagen, she worked for Corestaff Services. She ran two successful on-site clients, Dynegy and American General Life. After Corestaff, she was in staffing sales and downtown was her territory. She believes working downtown every day allowed her to learn the landscape and fall in love with Houston. Tiffany is now responsible for the strategic management and development of the Houston and Dallas locations for Dagen. Tiffany is involved with operations and sales to ensure clients receive customized solutions, quality candidates, and an overall positive buying experience. She works directly with all levels of the Dagen team to position the company for sustained and continued growth. Tiffany is the Vice President for Texas Staffing, Recruiting and Search Association and attends many energy organizations. Tiffany holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from Baylor University. Spending time with family and enjoying vacations on the beach are important to Tiffany, but faith in God is her foundation.
